Product Manager for a leading interactive publisher in the DVD/PC CD-ROM market

Position overview:
To oversee and execute all marketing aspects of product releases, life cycle management and product P&L. Create and execute long-term, strategic product release plans for specified product lines.

What you will be doing:
Create and execute an annual release & retail strategy that incorporates the operating income and market share growth goals with proper market timing.
Generate & validate new product concepts.
Create appropriate marketing plans & budgets for products and product lines, outlining the lifetime product strategy.
Help create and work within the production schedule that guides all product release activities.
Create and gain approval of the product P&L.
Coordinate all tactical product release activities; including packaging, sales materials, research, licensing, development, creative services, operations, sales, accounting, legal, and PR.
Work with sales on proactive lifecycle management to maximize revenue, market share and brand equity, and minimize inventory costs.

What you need for this position:
~ B.S. Business/Marketing
~ 5 years consumer product marketing experience preferred
~ 3 to 5 years retail consumer software product marketing
~ Knowledge of marketing principles, solid written and verbal communication skills, copywriting skills, impeccable proofreading skills, strong organizational, analytical and project management skills.
~ Windows: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer, PC Data
